Title Case and Editorial Style
This tool capitalises every word in title case. Most published style guides are more selective and leave short words such as "a", "of", "and" or "the" in lowercase unless they begin the title.
So the output is a mechanical title case rather than a style-guide-correct headline. For a heading that will be published, use it as a starting point and lowercase the small connecting words yourself.
Sentence Case Detection
Sentence case capitalises after a full stop. Because it works from punctuation rather than meaning, an abbreviation such as "e.g." will trigger a capital on the following word, and proper nouns that you lowercased will not be restored.
It is reliable for ordinary prose and worth a quick read-through for text containing abbreviations or names.
